I got you beat, Sgt Wayne Wood. I was pretty darn close to grand 'ole LCpl, if not, of the Marine Corps when I pinned on my second chevron. 5 years and 1 month with no NJP/CM. Granted I had a year of broken time, but when i reenlisted, they gave it to me as time in grade.
