Yates, an Obama holdover, demonstrated very poor judgment. She overrode the decision of a higher court that had already approved Trump's Executive Order. Clearly, she had one agenda and that was to stall his cabinet picks. I don't think she thought he would put her in her place so quickly and decisively. Welcome to the new U.S. Government where people are held accountable. At least no one can accuse Trump of sitting on his hands... She had it coming!
