WASHINGTON — President Trump fired his acting attorney general on Monday night after she defiantly refused to defend his executive order that has closed the nation’s borders to refugees and people from predominantly Muslim countries.
In an escalating crisis for his 10-day-old administration, the president declared in a statement that Sally Q. Yates, who had served as deputy attorney general under President Barack Obama, had betrayed the Department of Justice by announcing that Justice Department lawyers would not defend Mr. Trump’s order against legal challenges.

She is an at will employee. Just like anywhere else...you don't carry out the orders or mission of your boss, you get canned...period. When you are in that or any other job like that you cannot let personal opinion rule the day. She has to uphold the law and there were no laws broken. If you can't do that then you have the moral obligation to leave.
