One of my favorite Black History subjects are the Tuskegee Airmen. Each time I read something about their history I become more inspired. America was so lucky to have these brave dedicated soldiers willing to make the sacrifices they did for a mostly ungrateful nation. My other great inspiration is Jackie Robinson. Both his military history and his barrier breaking athletic accomplishments. Satchel Paige is another inspirational story. So many great men and women. I am glad I lived through the 50's and 60's to see civil rights for all come to fruition in this country. Amazing times.

I saw an interview that Mike Wallace did with Morgan Freeman on sixty minutes.
Morgan Freeman seems to have absolutely zero use for a black history month.
Will someone please post a link to the interview. Morgan made Mike Wallace look like three kinds of a fool. Delightful Watching....I have never seen the likes of it.

FLASHBACK: Morgan Freeman on Ending Racism: ‘Stop Talking About It’
(CNSNews.com) – Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman, who endorsed Barack Obama for president in 2008, said that having a Black History Month was “ridiculous” and that the best way to end racism today is to “stop talking about it.”

Interesting post, not sure I agree with him, but I do think talking about it, helps to bring it out, cause sometimes it is hiding right in front of us (Racism).

Only if you are discussing truck stops however, since all drivers are one color regardless of pigmentation all menu items are to be considered SOLE food....if you can but dig it.
