I read that he also removed the Director of National Intelligence, and that both would only attend "when their expertise and responsibilities are required".
With replacing actual assets with a campaign advisor, I'm worried that the NSC will be pressured to shape the narrative into something politically palatable. For instance, minimizing Russian actions.

I was just about to highlight that point. It's like we're in the Twilight Zone. Has there been any opposition to this? Article doesn't say.

SSG (Join to see) - I don't think there's anything to oppose, it's the President's Council, he gets to pick his advisors. But it does seem political and like it puts politics over facts...and subsequently, national security.

You are correct , smoke, we don't want to politicize and he should be able to make those, decisions, but with some exceptions to the impact it has on mission and on our overall approach. I cant help but think the cos challenged their vision and that's why he was replaced. One of the most frustrating things about our oath is that most of us never read the art. of freedom that we pledge to protect, I believe ifwe are to defend these rights properly we need to be intimately familiar with what we protect.

25th Amendment Staff "A vice president, working with a “majority of either the principle officers of the executive departments, or of such body as Congress may by law provide,” can remove the president for being “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”- I would say it depends on the severity and type of crime and how prosecuting wooed effect the nation, but it's VP Pences move. Not sating he dhould, but someone has to remind him what sound good aint always constitutional.
