Very good read and factual. Too many fake news chains. Had fun using them to piss people off before the election. Too bad too many people still believe everything they say. And they verify it so it must be true. Let's just say verifying Buzz Feed by using Snopes, is like wiping your butt then blowing your nose with the same paper. Something stinks here.

Wow, that was quite the enjoyable shellacking. And he's absolutely right, no one believes the press anymore. I took a HS journalism class in 87 or so, which doesn't by any means (of course) make me any sort of expert, but what I do remember is this: they hammered two tenets over and over again: 'who, what, when, where, and why', and, 'keep your opinion out of it, stick to the facts'. Everywhere I look now, literally everywhere, opinion is in all the headlines, or, if not, the headline is designed to be clickbait. At this very moment, CNN's headline on their page is 'Trump believes millions voted illegally, won't provide proof.' Responsible journalism either leaves that last part off, or breaks it out into another story. As written, it screams CNN's disapproval and entitlement. You would never have seen a headline like that pre-2000. Until this sort of thing changes, I think the MSM is going to see their stock continue the nosedive it's currently in.

Good article! I have long been of the opinion that using the term journalism for what the Main Stream Media do, is a misnomer. Journalists report facts and let their readers/listeners make up their own minds about the underlying story. The Main Stream Media today is so busy pushing social and political agendas that they have lost sight of their main reason for existence. A 15% approval rating seems a little high to me. So far, Mr. Trump appears to be running laps around them and should continue to do so until they get back to being journalists.
