Read Mattis' Rousing Memo To The DoD

I'm not a Marine (yes, my bad) but I absolutely love our new SecDef Mattis... My fave part of his first memo to DOD... "You represent an America committed to the common good; an America that is never complacent about defending its freedoms; and an America that remains a steady beacon of hope for all mankind." Nothing about America First and all that isolationist 19th Century talk... in today's digital global village there's no such thing as "free security" from external action... In the world stage where we stand as a protagonist - we must be ready to face any entanglement. I love Mattis' freedom of thought, individuality, common sense and lack of party-line alignment... Semper Fidelis!
