As stated in the article completion of Ranger school and becoming a Ranger are completely different. Quite an accomplishment for this young woman.

I don't know if its still the same, but back in the '80's enlisted soldiers were assigned to a Ranger battalion before attending Ranger School. Just like most attendees of Ranger school never get assigned to a Ranger battalion.
Either way, its a great accomplishment for the unnamed officer. I wish her the best of luck.
