Here is an update on the names of the people who have been officially nominated for government positions which require Senate confirmation the day before soon-to-be President Donald Trump is inaugurated:
So far of the 690 positions 29 announced with nobody confirmed yet.
Now names have been submitted for each cabinet position.
It is typical to wait until after the Secretary of the Department has been confirmed before submitting the names for under and assistant secretary etc.
Ambassadors to the most "significant" nations can be expected to submitted after Secretary of state has been confirmed. Other ambassadors may well be continued for some time.
Newly nominated include: Sonny Perdue for Secretary of Department of Agriculture; Rod J. Rosenstein for Deputy attorney general; Terry Branstad for Ambassador, China and David Friedman for Ambassador, Israel
