How can she get a Pardon if she was never convicted of a crime? It's like here is my library card in case I check out a book.

SrA Richard Crumley - It might have been stupid and possibly negligent, but Nixon's actions were criminal.

SrA Richard Crumley - I wouldn't call those "forensics measures" if they just tried to delete the messages. I wouldn't even say it was an attempt to hide something. It was just plain stupid and they proved unknowledgeable as to how to delete information.
I'm surprised the U.S. Government allowed classified information to be sent outside of trusted domains to untrusted domains. But then again, there's a severe shortage of cyber personnel in the government. Whomever was the Information Security Officer just should have said no to using public email.
Businesses erase information all the time because of legalities and then issue "Certificates of Destruction" to verify, validate, and attest they've destroyed the data.

MSgt Neil Greenfield - The forensic measures were the programs that she used to delete the emails after the subpoena was issued.

I discussed this on RP and with a Vietnam vet friend on the phone. I'm not a genius, I'm just expect the unexpected.
