Days before Trump takes office, Obama expands surveillance powers

I've said it before and I'll say it every time this issue is raised. So what? I was monitored in my home and office 24/7 when I was operations officer at a strategic communications center. I know because I heard tapes played at security briefings. One in particular was a colonel insisting on reading over the unsecure telephone a portion of a highly classified message to insure that I knew which one he wanted retransmitted because it had a garbled section. I hung up on him three times to make him stop. He got in trouble. I didn't. The truth is that I can't imagine how boring it must have been for someone to listen to all the mundane crap that filled my conversations. Oh, my new bride and I attempted to spice it up with dirty talk for the benefit of the poor E? who had to listen. But, of course, that's not how it's done these days. It's computers listening for key words and phrases from likely offenders and flagging them for human consideration. Again, so what?

Although I don't want to be cynical I suspect that days after Trump is in office this will be blamed on him.

He is going to do anything he can to sabotage the Trump Administration..........So many things to roll back, he will spend all his time doing that....!
