A push in Congress for Ivanka Trump's child care plan

I was heartbroken to hear that Ivanka wasn't going to be included in her father's Administration. She has more brains than any of them.

The GOP has not been big on supporting social issues in the past. If they support this maybe they are changing. However, the plan doesn't do enough. From my understanding the child care plan doesn't help alleviate the cost of child care during the year, it provides a tax credit and it's only $1200. Child care costs far more than that annually. Time is one of the sources, but there are others that are indicating it will benefit higher income families more than lower income families. At least that's on pare with what the GOP does.
Before you respond with comments about liberals, I am registered as an Independent. And I would give the same break down about the things Democrats don't typically support.

If Ivanka can help her dad push this reform into reasonable law by Congress that would be good to a Trump legacy. However, if the GOP treat any type of reform that involves better work and pay conditions for families, women, middle class in the same manner they did with Obama then that makes a statement on just how much the GOP supports their soon to be President.
