Good nonfiction deals in facts. Good fiction deals in truth. Often times, facts get in the way of truth or, as the old adage says, you can't see the forest for the trees. This is why I write historical fiction. I don't bend the facts. I simply build on them to weed out their truths. That's what these stories do and do it masterfully
