Not much news coming out of Iraq this week.... and there are reasons for that.. It has not been a good week for the Anti-IS forces up at Mosul as IS conducts limited local counter attacks and raids deep rear areas of Iraq from places already thought secure. These are placing alot more stress on the Iraqi government

Every time I read anything on Iraq/Afgan my brain overheats and wants to pop like a piece of corn. Didn't we learn anything in RVN or Korea or any other number of misadventures? I guess not.
