Won't make it out of committee and they know it. Congress will not fire themselves. Once they get a taste of power, they want more. If Cruz and DeSantis believe that is how it should be why don't they return home after their stated term limits? For the record, I am definitely for term limits, but also a realist.

Which is exactly why we need to put pressure on our state legislators to Amend the US Constitution through an Article V convention of the States, the fail-safe Hamilton argued for to prevent legislative tyranny.

From your lips to God's ears. If it fails, we have to try initiating it in state houses. Remember, states can initiate constitutional amendments, and local politicians might like the idea of clearing incumbents out of Congress so they get a crack at the prize

Honestly, that sounds more realistic to me than other alternatives. Whichever way it goes, we definitely have got to get term limits in Congress ASAP. These politicians lose touch with their constituents and reality, and I feel they need to go back to being John or Jane Q Citizen's after their time to keep them humble. js
