Russia to Upgrade Tank Force With Deadly New Fire Control System

Looks like the Russian are falling short on the delivery of their new tank and reverting to an upgrade that will bring the Soviet era T-72 in to 2017. They are catching up and we are designating our M-1 fleet as a "Legacy" vehicle. We have learned this lesson before, if we don't advance we will be overtaken, but when the PowerPoint Rangers are in control and not the warriors, the lessons of the battlefield are relegated to the classroom at Leavenworth and Carlisle. There is no new tank development program going on in the US today. The M-1 is great warfighting machine... but technology is moving ahead... some of it is being retrofitted but we need to do better if we can.
