All I have caught is the BBC report. Personally I am appalled that they are trying to pull a stunt like this.

LTC (Join to see) - there was lots of outrage everywhere over this stunt, but I rxpect they will try to slip it in later in the year when no one is looking

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - What I care about is what the people who made the decision said, not talking heads. With his pending criminal charges, they likely planned from the beginning for a President Pence.

This is a nice list to cherry pick from, but I encourage your own fact-check so you don't accuse me of bias. If Obama had committed nearly the amount of scandalous acts, I would hope that liberals and conservatives alike would have stood against him. I would be surprised if Donald remains in office for a full year. Pence, we may have to tolerate for 4 years.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - I'm not going to lie to you: I stopped reading somewhere around Bill Clinton. As I recall, Bergdahl is an American, and we have this thing about leaving no man behind. We also have rights for our citizens, including due process. Yes, we have all the evidence that shows he was just a complete dickwad. Yes, his actions put others in the position to be killed by enemies. None of this is legal justification to essentially tell him to F off and die. By not doing everything in our power to bring him back, you have sentenced an American serviceman to death. Maybe if Republicans didn't actively hinder every action Obama took, then maybe circumventing wouldn't have happened. Republicans voted against their own bills! And quite frankly, Donald hasn't even been sworn in and he's already working on that Treason charge.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - And you misunderstand what "due process". I'm not denying he's a guilty idiot. I agree, he's stupid and deserves what he gets. When we make exemptions to our rights for one, it endangers us all. The terrorists Obama traded for Bergdahl haven't returned to the battlefield. They are exiled to Qatar under close surveillance.
The key difference between Donald and Obama is their intent. Donald just sold America's soul to a murderous dictator to line his pockets.
