Glad to hear the young lady got something from her bad behavior. It sounds like she received NJP, was reduced in rank, and later released at the expiration of her enlistment, but you cannot tell exactly from the article which is fuzzy on those particular details.

I guess an admin discharge went along with the NJP.

PO2 Robert Aitchison - The story would be continued on her DD-214's discharge code. Her conduct would have been contrary to 'good order and discipline' and as someone with a security clearance she was especially trusted to "obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." Moral: pick your battles wisely.
