NO. Romney, referring to when he took over as Massachusetts governor, said, "I had the chance to pull together a Cabinet, and all the applicants seemed to be men," he said. "I went to a number of women's groups and said, 'Can you help us find folks?' and they brought us whole binders full of women."

When Romney said he was given binders full of women, it showed that he personally didn't know any women, and needed others to find some. It showed that during his whole working life, he never considered a woman worthy of getting to know.

And I don't think his detractors on this particular topic were progressives. Perhaps it was closer to "all women."

Simply correcting the record, Jack. You said "Romney simply said that he had many resumes on file for highly qualified women and that he kept them in "binders"....

But as you can see, he didn't say that at all. He said, "I went to a number of women's groups and said, 'Can you help us find folks?' and they brought us whole binders full of women." That boy, Mitt, seemed to know lots of men, but apparently never met a woman worthy of a powerful job.

So yeah, it was a nice try, and I hope it corrected some people's memories. Thanks.
