Democrats could block Mattis nomination

Having never been an actual soldier, who has put your life on the line for a comrade, I take your opinion as nothing more than civilian whining! I'm sure you are proud to claim you are a veteran. but I get it, according to your own profile you like to debate, so you are on here just to "Troll" around and stir the pot. I did not pick Trumpy for POTUS, nor did I selected Clintonites. Both of these so-called Presidential candidates are seeking more War and not peace. Both of these people only care about themselves and what they want as the POTUS. Now that we know Trumpy is going to be the POTUS next month on January 20th, what will our Congress do? Nothing, they will do nothing. Look at the Senator elect that was mentioned, she is not, and I repeat is not the only one who loss limbs. She is not a Warrior at heart. She didn't die for her Country. She flew choppers. She wasn't a grunt or anything close for matter and she's an Army Brat Soldier that I have no respect for and never will. Now getting back to the GENERAL, he has something to show because I know him personally and served with him during the First Gulf War with the Blue Diamond, 1st Marine Division, I MEF, Camp Pendleton, CA. He is a Warrior at heart. Not like these wannabes who think they are. I will not stand for another useless POTUS, or for that matter a Congress that is so dysfunctional, uncooperative, uncommitted, biased, and just plain lazy period. Remember folks it was a Republican POTUS, 2X that were business savvy that sent us military soldiers, Marines, sailors, airmen to defend their oil fields and their so called Weapons of Mass Destruction. Which, we all know where it went. To Syria and Iran. Who would they select, another multi-billionaire, like the so-called Secretary of State. Who has no clue about Foreign Policies. And a LTGEN, who is supposedly a National Security Advisor, with problems already coming to Fruition. The real problem that I have seen since my six plus decades of living here in our Country is that people in general don't have the foggiest idea about politics and only worry what our government can give them for free. The immigrates who came to the North American continent started a life with hard work and no play. Today, everything is a given. Like our political system, our banking systems, our social services and there benefits. The wrong people are getting shafted each and everyday. Do you really think that Our politicians care about you or I. Not one iota do they care. We need Warriors like the General who knows firsthand what it will take to protect our way of life and the freedom that a lot of people take for granted. You live, you work, you die. But you try your best to die with Honor. That's the Warrior Code of Honor. Mind, Body, Spirit. That's the Military Code of Duty, Honor, Country. That's why we fight, that's why we live. Not some off the wall SNAFU political animals who only cares for themselves and especially being a POTUS of a supposedly free Nation. What do you say?
