My hope is that the incoming Administration will be more focused on combat effectiveness than liberal social engineering and implement policies that work toward that end, regardless if it upsets the "gender equality" zealots.

interesting article... and from the experiences in the past... most of the time special allowances were made of compensation was made in one form or another...
Not saying they can't do it But the standards are set for a reason... so if they don't measure Up or ship 'em out

An interesting reader response to that article in reference to the suggestion of MOS specific physical standards
"Folks should look to NAVSCOLEOD and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) for examples. Both have been gender neutral for decades. The tools of the trade weigh the same for all the services."
And I thought///Oh really..... I need to go look at that, perhaps this MOS specific physicality standards gender neutral stuff is not as groundbreaking as I thought.
