Mr. Trump also said he was tired of the repetition in the PDBs. This should be a key input to all intel agencies and every other executive branch. I sat through hundreds of daily flag-officer briefings in my time in the Service, as a contractor, and as an Army Civilian. At least half of the materiel was the same as the day or days before. Some stuff just doesn't change fast. Some does and that's what the President needs to know about. Senior leaders need to clearly define their information requirements Staffs need to fulfill those requirements. I can't remember how many times I wrote that in an after-action report. It's a lesson yet to be learned.

Strongly agree that is the need. When I was the senior leader getting the briefing, it took a bit of time, but the leader molds the briefer and briefing team on what his needs are. I hope POTUS ODNI team will learn. My guess is the Mike Flynn will give some course correction so they know what to give to the new POTUS.

I can think of some interesting (?) briefings I had sat through then the noise of 2 or 3 people snoring they were so into the information feed.

Mis-leading headline. He stated he don;t want to hear the same thing everyday but is a one minute notice for new intell. He also stated this might change, which I hope it does, cause sometimes you do need to hear it more than once for it to sink in.

Seems a lot of people never get past the headline and actually read the article. Headlines very rarely are quotes but used to draw attention to an article. I either event it would be nice if people at least tried to have the full information first before speaking. You made a good point P03 Foster, thank You !

People forget that he doesn't really want to do the day to day work. His general vision will be whatever the GOP and Dems want it to be
