You forget that in Politics, the "Golden Rule" means: He who has the Gold, makes the rules. Both parties share the blame on that one.

President Obama to Republicans: I won. Deal with it.
An annoyed president laid down the political law. But, will Republicans listen?

MAJ James Woods - He made a similar statement in 2009. Who was obstructing him then. Want to see it? A little obstruction then may have saved us from the disastrous ACA and Dodd-Frank.

One source. Yes first two years Obama with his Recovery Act of 2009 got this country back on its feet.

Second source. GOP made very clear they didn't want to work with Obama on anything.

A President who refused to sign off on any laws that would deliberately hurt Middle Class America deserved to be vetoed; that's not obstructionism. Inserting last minute amendments into a major bill knowing the President wouldn't agree to it; that's obstructionism through intentional sabotage of a major bill. ACA: Public Option was a key portion of that bill, it was the GOP that wanted it removed; huge mistake by all on that. Now GOP talk about including a Public Option as part of their healthcare alternative to the ACA. Don't you find that a tad hypocritical.

The Republicans were "obstructing" him to try and prevent his harmful policies and proposals from succeeding. Then there's all of the irrelevant crap that Democrats tried to slip into bills. The Republicans took one for the team by "obstructing" things that would certainly make them look bad to prevent harmful things from getting through.
