SSgt Terry P. - Trying not to start a piss ing contest but was directed to you. And I tried to word it so it did not doulb your statement. But you also know and I have seen it over and over very few come out the gate that ready to go. Most have to develop their own style and some things doesn't always work. You have to listen to your people also. I like to question mine and I have been caught in a mistake or two. Those that do will get a atta boy and a good report. So nothing personal and if you took it another way I am sorry about that.

MSgt John McGowan - Didn't take it personal, sometimes the black and white of text messages doesn't come across the way it should,MSgt.The point of my comment was not to give the impression i started out ready, only that taking responsibility for my actions as an NCO and delegating to individuals to get the job done.I have failed to complete task that should have been done, but never tried to "pass the buck" onto anyone under me,if the job didn't get done the final responsibility was mine. The subordinate only had to deal with me,no one else.

SSG. Point taken, messages does look different at times. Still looks like you did it the right way. I believe we understand each other. I took a few for the troops also. Thank you for for the answer back.

SGT Keith Bodine - I don't think I was any of these funny and sometimes truthful NCO types, maybe my type falls in the category of they got some new guy on the range,me,skinny kid with glasses, has a Boston accent let's send him to the NCO academy and put him in front of two companies of AIT trainees might be good for a laugh.thought I did a pretty good job for the next 14 months though.

SGT Philip Roncari, Like I wrote, I wasn't a SGT but half a day and they gave me a detail to have my (Friends) troops to pick up cigarette butts. I mean these aren't trainees. They're hard core combat veterans. I fooled them. My guys and I got along great. It's that old Aretha Franklin song, R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
