Can you believe it? Congress over road Obama's objections to more Military pay. Good for them for finally getting some nads and doing the right thing.
Military personnel would see a 2.1 percent pay raise starting in January and a significant manpower boost within the Army, Air Force and Marine Corps as part of Congress' annual defense spending bill unveiled Tuesday.

Awesome news. More than the actual dollar value is the symbolism. That .5% cut and bah roll backs were a kick in the teeth year after year. Say you care about us all day, but follow that up by cutting our pay. So this is a big move not only for the small change in the pay check, but because it means maybe just maybe they do give a small damn about us.

With this Pay Raise it will hopefully be enough to get above the Cost of Living increases and actually get the Troops a Little more to put in the bank...
