I sadly, from a civilian standpoint can't put forth any relevant or true information, besides the time where I got attacked by a dog as a younger child and I kinda have a natural gravitation to avoid bigger dogs now.
My apologies.

Thanks Maj Kim Patterson for letting us know that the subject-matter experts from the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) will speak during The Society of Federal Health Professionals (also known as AMSUS) annual meeting Nov. 29 – Dec. 2 at National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
I realize that the AMSUS annual meeting will close tomorrow.
2016 Meeting Registration Rates for non AMSUS members
Active duty, Federal employee or contractor $550
Non federal $800
FYI COL Mikel J. Burroughs this is out of my price-range :-)

LTC Stephen F. I don't have the funds either but I am anxious to see what they cover and decide to commit to; DCOE provided on line training in most of the topics for free and can be accessed on your personal computer.

Maj Kim Patterson - I would be interesting to see the post-conference recommendations from the subject-matter experts.
