The crumbling concrete dome was recently the subject of an episode of "Scorpion." The Soviet government couldn't fix the Chernobyl problem 30 years ago, so they sealed it in a dome and evacuated the local area. Out of sight, out of mind. Russia's new answer, "Let's build a new dome - out of steel this time! Maybe this one will last longer.". . Sure!
