Fellow Reservists (including the National Guard!), this is a very timely reminder to double-check what you think you know - and even what you are told - about "How mobilizations work". There are many different ways that you can be mobilized, and the differences can impact your pay, benefits, retirement (not all fall under the "90 days early for 90 days served"), 1095 rule, and even taxes. They can also impact whether you are still considered part of your Reserve unit for administration, etc.
It is way too complicated of a topic for a non-personnel guy like me to give any concrete advice, other than to be alert. Don't assume that THIS mobilization will be governed by the same policies as THAT deployment.... I wish it wasn't true, but it is.
