A temporary brake on the vote until 1st qtr 2017- these guys in congress could not wait till the election was over to look at this. Your thoughts on earmarks? Keep in mind they add additional spending which increases government spending and the budget.

What guys? They were banned despite the leading Democrats objections; "Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid said he strongly opposes the ban on earmarks that was put in place over his objections." Seems to me like the GOP led Congress then is still managing to stay consistent as the vote has been push up another year. Personally I would love to see them banned for good.

We should be killing almost all of this sort of spending as we are 20 trillion in debt. Everyone wants to bring home a pet project. I am in favor of stopping all of it until we get our financial house in order.
