This Alabama County Just Elected 9 Black Women To Become Judges

This is the daughter I am extremely proud of.

It would be interesting, at least to me, to see a study of black migration around the US since the end of the Civil War. I suspect that many went north to find shelter from their former masters only to discover new forms of servitude. It has been my long held belief that racism was more easily dealt with in the South because whites there weren't denying their racism as did those in the North. As with alcoholism, the first step to recovery is acceptance that you have a problem
