America is screwed. One study shows that counting only the votes of 18 to 25 year olds would result in 502 electoral votes for Hillary. In other words, they have been well indoctrinated by the Progressive Movement which has infested our schools and colleges.

François Guizot: ‘Not to be a republican at twenty is proof of want of heart; to be one at thirty is proof of want of head’.
Often misattributed to W. Churchill as ‘If you’re not a liberal when you’re 25, you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative by the time you’re 35, you have no brain.’ (or some variation thereof).

At what age do they start earning good wages and pay onerous taxes. Today 6% of our tax revenues go to serving the National Debt and it's still growing. A quote often attributed to Winston Churchill was, "If you are not a liberal before you're 30, you have a heart. If you are not a conservative after 30, you have no brain" (paraphrased).

MCPO Roger Collins - Master Chief Collins brings up an underrepresented point, I believe. I think these people tend towards modern liberalism until they start earning a wage. I voted liberal once, then I joined the Navy and paid taxes and thought to myself, "never again".
I think a huge issue is student debt. When these young voters enter a sparse workforce saddled with enough debt to buy a small house or nice car, they tend to gravitate towards candidates who tell them that their debt will be forgiven, and it is easy to see why. A lot of people do not vote in the best interests of their country, they vote in the best interests of themselves.

I had a blast this summer explaining to our interns where the money they thought they were earning was going. They were all upset their pay checks weren't what they thought they would be.

I think you are right, I think they are more afraid of what personal gains they now wont get or might lose. Their votes were based upon "self", I am thankful that my daughter (25 year old) is not so blinded and values working for what you get.
