Army retention system forcing out brightest leaders, promoting followers not innovators

Agreed Col- see this a lot. Someone that can nod in all the right places is retained, but someone that challenges the norm and forces outside the box thinking and can lead...well why would you keep someone that could challenge your "job".

this is Not good... This is the way to get really poorly Qualified Leaders and in the end a lot of folks hurt or Killed...

This will continue forever. Lots of talk of "innovation" around this but it's just talk...nothing will change. Ever.
