So in a country with a population far smaller than the United States, they have many parties, no party got a huge percentage of the vote, and they had a 79% voter turnout. Why can't we get this going here. Regardless of Liberal or Conservative views, this election should be proof (with the majority of people disapproving both the R and D candidate) that we need to have a wider range of candidates. A range of candidates that more closely represents the wide range of political views that make up the American populace.

CPT Jack Durish if they were informed on the issues, and voting their conscience based on their point of view, yes I would. If they were an uninformed voter just voting against me to be negative, with no point of view, then no I would not encourage that person to vote.

It would make it more difficult for Wall Street and special interests to dominate government. I don't believe anyone here wants that... or do we? 79% voter turnout, I can't help but think that a decent percentage actually like the candidates they are voting for to get numbers that high. Voting for a candidate that actually represents your views, that sounds like a pipe dream.
