I think we need military movies like American Sniper, Lone Survivor, Saving Private Ryan, Patton to show people the sacrifice that people in the military make. I also think that kids need better rolls models than Justin Beiber, Miley Cirus and the like. Like MacArthur said "Duty, Honor, Country"
I am looking forward to the movie !!!

CW3 John Wescott, I agree. I enjoy movies like Lone Survivor, Saving Private Ryan, BlackHawk Down, Tora! Tora! Tora!, Gettysburg, etc. I have so many movies and mini-series on all sorts of conflicts. One of my favorites is "The Lighthorsemen". Excellent movie.

It would be great to start getting our transitioning heroes in the media business. Our nation to rebuild it's cohesion, and rebrand our cultural narrative.

Also have read the book. I will wait for it to come out on Comcast and watch it at home without the usual theater viewer distractions. I hate the wait, but it's worth it. Plus I don't to pay $25 to see a movie and be distracted by cell phones, talking, and folks getting up and down in front of me. Just wish it did not 2, months before it comes out on Comcast. If DVD comes out first, I'll definitely grab that as well.

Understandable about the prices which is why my family and I go to the matinees. I used to go in the evening when I was single but for a family of four it would cost me over $40 just for tickets alone. Never mind getting popcorn, which is a must for me. Tickets at the matinee here (Cinergy in Copperas Cove, which is a great theater) costs me $25 for 4 people. Add in popcorn and a couple drinks (generally my boys don't want anything) and I'm back up to $40.

I watched in a PACKED theater at Fort Rucker. I swear it was the quietest theater movies experience I have ever had. Everyone was riveted. Everyone at the end stood during the credits to pay their respects. It was a good setting. Plus is a promotional--free show. Just paid for a cookie and a bottle of water.
Had to laugh when a young flight school lieutenant trying to carry four cups of beer to his seats dropped one... bad juju.
