All of this really depends on what the FBI has found. If they have found clear evidence of intent he felt was missing, new criminal acts or mishandling of clearly classified material, lying to the FBI and/or other crimes he needed to get on record early.
His job is to present the information as it comes to him not hold it until after the election. Had he held in that would be more manipulative that putting out the notice. If he has little or nothing, he is done as the head of the FBI, I think.
Remember folks, Hillary set up the server, hid it from the State Department, sent classified information over it, lied about it, tried to deny it etc. The timing is all of her making. Had she come clean early (especially of there was nothing to hide) this would be a hundred miles behind her. Now there appears to be classified information on a laptop owned by Huma and Weiner which could be a whole new bag of problems. Did HRC send classified into to a personal computer from her unsecured server? Seems very possible since the found 10,000 plus emails on this laptop AND they reopened the HRC investigation.
It is amazing to me how the FBI is becoming the bad guy of the left on here. They are only investigating things you and I would have already been in prison over. Had you send one classified email to an unsecured server what do you think would have happened to you? Why is HRC any different. The law is the law.
