Give Kids The World Village

Too often we make life all about us. I contribute to this organization, because for a few days, the cares and worries are suspended. They cottages, Disney characters and did I mention Cottages?
These cottages are lovely and each day, gifts and candy resting on the bed.

The founder's Henri Landwirth, a survivor of a Nazi Death Camp, had dreams and that was to get a place with the magic of the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center. These kids with life-threatening diseases even have Drs and Nurses close by and on the facility. The kids go to the front of the line, where they belong, as their short lives empower them and Disney makes sure kids are get VIP treatment. Whole families get to go together, because parents need a break, from the sadness and stress.

As a parent who lost a kid, I feel the pain acutely and thus, this very special place.
