I have to say, although it's petty on my part, that I wouldn't read the book simply because that man is voting for Clinton. Silly, I know, but there it is.

my tastes are pretty eclectic. i mix fiction, history, tech thrillers, and just about anything else that catches my fancy. currently reading "The Only Thing Worth Dying For", a popularized account of SpecFor ODA574 in Afghanistan. (almost done).
next up is Team of Teams by Stanley McChrystal then US Civil-Military Relations After 9/11 by MT Owens, the Taliban: Militant Islam, Oil and Fundamentalism by Ahmed Rashid, the The Other Side of the Mountain: Mujahideen Tactics in the Soviet-Afghan War by Ali Ahmad Jalali.... hmm seems like i'm military top-heavy for the next few months. next non-military i have is a Benjamin Franklin biography by Davidson Butler.

Sgt Wayne Wood - I'm the same way with books (and music too). Science fiction, fantasy, historical novels, biographies, philosophical texts (leaning towards far east philosophy), military, etc.
