I think as the global supply chain grows and more competition enters the market this will not be an issue. I read this article a few weeks ago and I think it is a worse case perspective.

LCDR (Join to see) I am not in a position to know much about the F-35, been out of touch for too long. but what we do hear about the up here in Vermont is that the Vermont Green Mountain boys will be switching to them very soon. I suppose I might get to see some ast he dog fight all the time in our sky. All the descendants of the 60's flower children are up in arms and trying to shut the F-35 down for Vermont. I have seen a few fly boys post on RP, and they do not seem to much care for the F-35. The test seems to have gone well, so I guess deployment is next and heavy flight ops will be the real test.
