'The Birth Of A Nation': Who Is Nat Turner?

I think it is always good to look at our history, to turn it over and see what is on the other side, to view our national growth through the eyes of all involved.
Perhaps it is time for "Soldier Blue" to be redone? How about an updated movie about Manzanar?
We as a nation have a glorious, wonderful history. But that history is also filled with some very dark events. We need to bring that darkness out into the light and examine it, discuss it, and resolve to never let such darkness happen again.
So, yes, this film is necessary.

Caucasian oppression against blacks other minorities still continues to this day in one form or another. What is not pointed out and I see it even up here in Canada is ethnic groups are biased and discriminatory against each other in this case my wife being native Canadian they call her an apple red on the outside white on the inside because she married a white man. what the leaders have to see whether it be African-American and Hispanic or other ethnic groups including American Indian what the leaders have to see whether it be African American Hispanic or other ethnic groups including American Indians they need to not be insulting each other or putting each other down and they shouldn't be killing each other either. Birth of a Nation and that other Rebellion may show some crimes of the past butt they need to clean house in their own ethnic groups as well I just my opinion.
