Cute, and I wonder if that's what the higher ups think will happen.

We all do the same tired training every 12 months, Susie and her mix tape, Safety, Suicide Awareness, ect, ect ,ect To be honest after the first 5 years I stopped caring at the 10 mark I lost the ability to be motivational to the Juniors about the training. Its death by NKO and Power Point. Nothing new is ever in it, and its all very boring topics. Sadly there is some 18 of them we have to do every October.

Tis what it is, such is our life lol. I just call it paying the dues now.

CPO (Join to see) Never thought about it from the perspective of the presenter. In retrospect I imagine it is just as bad when it comes down that you are going to be conducting the same training, again, with no updates, no new data, nothing but regurgitate and move on.

I give the biannual Safety Brief the Annual DAPA Brief, The Annual Cyber Awareness Brief on top of the NKO Training everyone must do online, and the Security Brief..

All we do is change the dates on the slides and maybe some of the statistics from last year. (If they need it) Some times I just skip the death by power point and talk, ask questions and try to get people to teach them selves. Some times if I'm feeling really creative I download youtube videos of people doing dumb stuff and show that. Trust me the only people that get excited about this stuff are the people that get paid to make others do it lol.

So, did the missed training cause the lapse in judgment or was the lapse already there I wonder?

Somebody's apparently gonna be in seriously deep yogurt...like a great line in the autobiography of Gen. Colin Powell that he used, "Stand by for a butt chewing...."....
