In 841BC, Jehu, the captain of the army of Israel’s Southern kingdom, was anointed by God to be the king of the Southern kingdom and specifically, to destroy the Northern kingdom’s evil power players. Jehu went to Jezreel to destroy vile sorceress Queen Jezebel. As he stood beneath her window calling out for anyone’s alliegance, “two or three eunuchs” (her slaves) rose up against their mistress and boldly threw her out of the palace window. Thereby, she met her defeat on the street below.
