Great job by armed citizens. Another example of why legally armed citizens is a good thing.
One point that sticks out to me in the article is that “experts” don’t believe in the theory of the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Who are these “experts?” Because my experience as a 30+ year civilian LEO, plus another 20+ years of military experience tells me otherwise.

These are the same experts that advised politicians on fiscal policy, geo-politics, welfare reform, immigration reform, education reform for the past 40 years to a resounding failure.

A RP member posted about the teacher that, although unarmed, tackled the shooter. This was proof to him (RP member) that you don't need to be armed to stop a shooter. I asked how many times he thought that would play out. Never got an answer.
I'm sure we all would attempt to stop an active shooter even if we were unarmed, but I'll take my chances doing it kineticly vs. brute force, thank you very much!

SMSgt Thor Merich - I know he was hit. Not sure how many times. It sounds like he'll pull through. Like I said. I'll go the armed route, and live to fight another day.

They were in the right place at the right time, good thing they neutralized the shooter.
