It's ironic in a pathetic way. The right wing loves to talk about being "self sufficient." The right wing always bashes "welfare queens." The right wing loves to talk about ending "dependence on government."
It's just too bad that statistically, it is the RED STATES that are dependent on federal welfare. It is the RED STATES that take by far the most money from government programs, such as medicaid ,social security, subsidies, etc.
While more progressive, forward thinking states such as California or Maryland give back more money to the federal government that they receive, the states which love to boast about "self reliancy" the most take in FAR more money from federal programs than they give back in taxes.

It is amazing to see people complain about social welfare programs but gladly accept federal money from these programs because they legally can.

If you map is accurate, I believe Mr. Trump will have the electoral votes to take the White House.

That's the map showing which states take in more money than they give back. Red means they are "welfare states" while blue means that they are "donor states," which give back more money in taxes than they receive in welfare.
