The Day A College Football Player Stood Alone To Honor America

The Taking a Knee and the other acts of defiance are Just disrespectful... and does a disservice to the men and women who have died to protect and defend their rights to be so shameful.

SGT Ben Keen we live in strange times. When it was first abnormal to see someone sit/kneel/hide during the national anthem, but now is abnormal to see a lone kid who chooses to stand. It is strange times. I just want to know has any of this protesting actually made a difference? I would guess no, simply because they are not writing letters to their representatives demanding change. Hel, most of the time we won't even vote someone out of office who deserves it, just because of party affiliation. So while it is great that this kid stood up (literally and figuratively) for his values, the sad reality is that American values have become so convoluted that defining those values is an issue.
