I'm pretty sure I knew that William wasn't known as "the Conqueror" in his lifetime, but it got me to thinking: Why don't we ascribe such titles to past Presidents? Can you think of a good one or two?

ehem Ricard Nixon was referred to as "Dick" in his day.... because of his Richard is now used to call people dick.....
