Are you tired of looking at the backsides of the other racers? I wouldn't say that any other nation is passing us. It's an illusion created by the fact that we're going backwards. We broke ties with Europe to try something different. That difference, self-governance helped build the greatest nation with the greatest economy and wealth for all who chose to exert themselves. Well, we've now surrendered that concept. We expect "intellectuals" to make decisions for us. We expect someone else to govern us. We want to be the Europeans that our forefathers left behind. Well, if you want to be Europe, we'll be Europe and don't complain about it. We have precisely the government and the nation we deserve and this is what we deserve. Complain as you might about Hillary and Donald, they are the candidate we chose and they are the candidates we deserve. Complain about the economy as you might, this is the economy you chose and this is the economy we deserve. Need I say more?

The sad thing is many in the upper and lower income categories are satisfied. We are becoming Europe and China is becoming the United States when you limit it to economic structure.

MCPO Roger Collins - China and India both are enjoying the fruits of free markets. They have rapidly growing middle classes. Sadly, neither will sustain free markets once the governments feel threatened by their growing power.

The only things the Chinese have passed us by are in population, number of languages spoken by natives in their nation, and a very impressive Great Wall Maj Marty Hogan.
They are doing their best to become a major world player - economically and militarily.
They artificially keep their currency well below market rates to help them win trade wars :-(
