PO3 Dale S. - im presently doing a dual boot installation one drive Windows and the other will dedicate only for Ubuntu I did test it on my other computer the sudo update command for compiz - extra (sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager compiz-plugins-extra )

Yes and it did work but cant seem to get it back the way I like it, like the way back then with Ubuntu 10.4 attached a photo of my screen shot running compiz fusion ubuntu 10.4

Yes very true I myself dont throw away older computer systems that still work, Windows has so many versions that some of them older hardware seem to just work on those older OS's and not enough power to run the newer OS so to save the life of a computer if its still usable the best is Linux based OS Ubuntu for home use would be the best choice.

PO3 Dale S. - Kali Linux and Backtrack 5 are very dangerous OS's I was aspiring to be a network engineer back in 2008 more focused on network security as my main forte of choice. Virtualization made it even more scarier Until my health issues has prevented me from continuing school. When I did the checking on the Compiz settings the cube didnt work. I had to get additional softwares from the compiz repository, I think there was an issue on the drivers on my video card. But I did change the video card to an Nvidia based GPU which makes it even better working with Compiz and graphics. I was previously using an older graphics card which didnt allow me to enable the cube and rotate cube option from the (Ubuntu tweak / compiz) setup as I recall.
