Thanks for sharing "Churchill's Secret" CPT Jack Durish which I missed seeing.
It would have been very interesting for FDR who was physically debilitated by Polio to be dealing with his close ally Winston Churchill if he indeed suffered a debilitating stroke all the while dealing with the ruthless Stalin who seemed to be in very good health.

The debilitating stroke is history, as is the fact that it was kept secret. I am almost done reading Churchill's 7-volume biography (almost done) and the only part of the show that I can't confirm is the statement I mentioned about trampling over the British Constitution even though it isn't written. It isn't a written Constitution. In fact, it has been interesting to read about Churchill's thoughts on the subject. In some ways he admired the American Constitution but was glad he wasn't constrained by it. BTW, the link I provided will allow you to view the entire show

CPT Jack Durish - in those days the press understood national security unlike today. FDR was always pictured sitting so that the public didn't see how difficult it was fro him to get around.
I am glad that the British press also seemed to have supported the Prime Minister they once loathed.
