Nice story indeed! We have a great museum in Granite Falls, MN Fagan's Fighter World. He has several P-40 Warhawks, three P-51's, a P-38 Lightning and a B-25 Mitchell Bomber. He also has ever aircraft from every stage of pilot training and a Troop Glider from WWII. It is an amazing collection of aircraft in hangars that have murals painted on the walls depicting D-Day. He has a life-size landing craft with bronze soldiers hitting the beach. The sand they stand on came from Normandy France and Omaha Beach. He has jeeps, motorcycles, scooters, bi-cycles, half tracks, a Sherman Tank, a recreation of a briefing hut from England, a WWII Control Tour, a P-51 with the actual Browning Machine Guns still mounted in her wings and the license to have them. He is also taping WWII pilots and ground crew to save their stories before they pass away. All are invited to bring their dad's grand-dads, uncles, cousin to share their stories.
