A few came to mind, but I found that while I was only familiar with one song, they actually had other hits. Henson Cargill, "Skip a Rope;" and one of my favorites, Barbara Fairchild with "The Teddy Bear Song." Jeanie C. Riley "Harper Valley PTA," CW McCall, "Convoy". All these I think it's fair to say that even if they had another hit, they're only remembered for one song.
